In Season 4, half-sister Paige took over for the dearly departed Prue, to once again form the Charmed Ones and fight evil and save innocents. In season 8, a life-or-death decision forced the sisters to fake their deaths and take a young witch named Billie into their care to help them fight evil so they could maintain normal lives.
